Hi friends, I have no idea what happened to January and here we are two weeks in to February! I’ve been inundated with things to get the new year started, appointments, a couple of commissioned quilts and you know the drill. Sorry I’ve taken so long to get something on here but here we go,

Our meeting in January was a success in every sense. We had nearly our full membership in attendance and before we knew it more than two hours had passed. It was really great to see and talk with everyone. I had the second date scheduled for the third Wednesday and three of us showed up, which again was great. I’m going to continue that this month; however, I’m going to plan to be sewing that night and maybe demonstrating a quick make at that time if I determine there’s an interest. I will post on Facebook what to bring for anyone who is. Sound good? Sometimes the meetings get away from us and we don’t get to all the things I have planned, you know we quilters have the gift of gab! I will continue to schedule both time slots, unless we get to a point where I’m there alone.

There was, like I said, so much to catch up with last month and tons of show and tell to talk about, we completely forgot about that conversation starter ( like we actually need one!) your most coveted/hoarded fabric. Let’s try that again on Saturday. Show us what you’ve got, talk about why it’s so special and just what you’re waiting for, if anything, to use it.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again. June will be with us this month and can update us on her portion. Bring your show and tell, see you Saturday morning.
